Jack White to produce The Libertines’ comeback album?
Pete Doherty’s claiming that the Third Man founder has offered a helping hand.

Update: According to CoS, a spokesperson for White has said he is “not interested in producing The Libertines’ new album”.
According to The Libertines’ Pete Doherty, Jack White has offered to produce the band’s comeback album.
A third LP is due out in 2015, following shows at London’s Hyde Park, with further dates scheduled in at Alexandra Palace and across Europe.
Speaking to French TV station D8, Doherty claimed that the Third Man founder had offered a helping hand in the process.
“Jack White says he’d like to do it,” he explained, before emphasising that “I don’t want to get too hopeful.”
The Libertines take to the following European dates:
