Jack White Will Not Contribute Music To Kinks Film
Despite the rumours, Jack’s spokesperson confirms otherwise

Jack White will not be contributing music to the new Kinks film, according to an official spokesperson.
Despite repeatedly being reported as in talks to appear on the soundtrack for the film entitled ‘Schoolboys In Disgrace’, White will not be contributing to the film, presumably much to the dismay of Kinks frontman Ray Davies, who was quoted as saying,
‘He’s a great technical player and would bring some great anarchy to it, which is in keeping with the script.’
The statement from Jack’s camp reads:
‘Rumors of Jack White’s participation in the film version of the Kinks’ Schoolboys in Disgrace are untrue. Jack White has great respect for the Kinks and the film’s director, Bobcat Goldthwait, but has no plans to record any music for the film as erroneously reported.’
