Jerkcurb shares darkly cinematic new video for ‘Voodoo Saloon’

The London singer’s latest visual’s a bit special

Londoner Jerkcurb - known to his mum as Jacob Read - has proven himself to be more than just a musician from day one. Creating a fully immersive, illustrated world around his brooding, jazz-tinged nocturnal compositions, he’s as much about the visuals as he is the audio (check out our NEU interview for proof).

Now, with the video for recent single ‘Voodoo Saloon’, directed by artistic team CC Wade, he’s served up the finest insight into Jerkcurb’s darkly enticing universe yet. A fully formed story featuring sweating protagonists, plane crashes and a 50s band, it’s a thoroughly beautiful thing to behold.
