Jessie Ware is back! Listen to new track ‘Midnight’
It’s the first taste of her upcoming third album.
It’s nearly a whole three years since Jessie Ware released her last album ‘Tough Love’, and after contributing to the soundtracks to ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ and ‘Me Before You’, she’s back with a brand new single! Hurrah!
‘Midnight’ is taken from her upcoming new album (which should be out later this year!) and it debuted via Radio 1 last night. Speaking to Annie Mac, Jessie said about the new album: “I just went in with a completely different attitude, not with fear, not with anything, not with this pressure. Basically, the majority of the record’s been written this year and it was really easy”.
But what about the track itself? Well, ‘Midnight’ starts off as a fragile, skeletal number with hazy ethereal synths, but soon develops into a full-on soul stomper, with confident piano chords and percussion.
Listen to ‘Midnight’ and Jessie’s full chat with Annie Mac below.
