Johnny Marr announces new live album ‘Adrenalin Baby’
Songs largely recorded in London and Manchester include Smiths classics and a Clash cover.
Johnny Marr has announced details of a new live album, recorded across his tour in support of 2014 album ‘Playland’.
The album was largely recorded at Marr’s shows at London’s Brixton Academy and Manchester’s Apollo, his largest solo shows to date. As well as tracks from ‘Playland’ and debut solo album ‘The Messenger’, the album includes multiple Smiths tracks including ‘The Headmaster Ritual’ and ‘How Soon Is Now?’, along with a cover of The Clash’s ‘I Fought The Law’.
‘Adrenalin Baby’ is set for release on 9th October, and Marr is set to go back on the road around the UK around its release, with the shows beginning in Oxford on the 4th.
