Jon Hopkins announces 2015 Brixton Academy show

Currently in the middle of an array of festival appearances across Europe, Jon Hopkins has announced plans for one final show in support of his most recent album ‘Immunity’.

Set to take place at London’s Brixton Academy next year, the Mercury Prize-nominated musician has admittedly had a rather busy twelve months. Having released his fourth full-length offering just over a year ago, the electronic producer has concentrated since on giving it the live airing it deserves, while simultaneously working on the soundtrack to British drama How I Live Now and garnering all kinds of critical praise, alongside his 2013 Mercury nod.

Now, with appearances at The Great Escape, Glastonbury and Field Day tucked neatly into his belt, the London-based producer is casting his eye to 2015. He’ll be headlining the South London venue on 24th April, with tickets due to go on sale from tomorrow (Thursday 11th August) at 11am here.

Later this year, Hopkins is due to appear at this year’s edition of Manchester’s Warehouse Project on 12th December, where he will perform alongside Jamie XX - the two of them curated the evening’s line-up themselves - as well as the likes of John Talabot, Modeselektor and Pangaea.

Hopkins has also unveiled a special teaser video for his forthcoming Brixton Academy show - giving fans a glimpse of the audio-visual elements of his live show - which you can watch below.

Jon Hopkins’ latest album ‘Immunity’ is available now through Domino.
