Kanye West plays super sub as Frank Ocean pulls FYF Fest set
The rapper fills in two days before Ocean was due to perform.
Kanye West will now headline this weekend’s FYF Fest in California, after singer-songwriter Frank Ocean cancelled two days before he was due to perform.
In a press release, Ocean stated he had “decided on his own terms to cancel his appearance”.
The festival’s other headliner is Morrissey (no sign of him cancelling too - yet), and will also feature sets from the returning Bloc Party, Run The Jewels, Savages, fka twigs, Solange, Laura Marling and more.
Earlier this summer, Kanye infamously headlined Glastonbury here in the UK.
The world is still waiting on new albums from both him and Ocean.
