Kele streams ‘Doubt’ track from new LP
Bloc Party frontman brings a house undercurrent to the first taste of ‘Trick’.
Bloc Party frontman Kele Okereke is streaming ‘Doubt’, the lead track from his second solo album ‘Trick’.
The follow-up to ‘The Boxer’ is due out 13th October on Lilac Recordings (via Kobalt), and previously Kele previewed the record with a taster of every track.
Streaming in full, ‘Doubt’ continues the dance-oriented pulse of ‘The Boxer’, but it’s decorated in more of a subtle house undercurrent. “I get so lost in my own thoughts,” he sings ahead of a chorus that’s come straight out of a night in a Berlin club.
The new record is set to follow from Kele’s recent stint of DJ’ing across the world. It’s available for pre-order here.
