Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Kanye West’s ‘All Day’ surfaces online
Thought to be a reference track, or material for a new remix, it’s a typically sure-fire verse from Kendrick.
A new, previously unreleased Kendrick Lamar guest verse has surfaced online, taken from Kanye West’s ‘All Day’. Boasting about how his neck “look sweeter than parfait,” and how he’s got more..erm..stamina than long-throwing baseball shortstop Derek Jeter, it’s Kendrick at his bravado-filled ‘Control’-verse channelling best.
Online, fans are speculating about the origins of the new verse. Some think that it’ll feature in an upcoming remix of the track. Others have been comparing the lyrics of the original with the new verse, and suggest that Kendrick - who has a writing credit on the original - put this together as a reference track for Kanye.
