Kid Wave air breakneck new single, ‘Gloom’
Sweden via London daydreamers continue their ascent on this Rory Attwell-produced new single.
Sweden via London four-piece Kid Wave are premiering their breakneck new ‘Gloom’ single on DIY.
Escapist to the extreme and encapsulating the finest strands of an otherwise saturated fuzz-first scene, Kid Wave excel to the top of the pack through sheer, all-encompassing hooks and a desire to break free from constraints.
Rory Attwell produces the single, which appears as part of the band’s new ‘Gloom’ EP. It follows on from the equally amped-up ‘All I Want’ debut.
Tonight Kid Wave launch the track at London Birthdays, midway through a run of shows with Childhood.
Hear the whole piece brilliantly spiral out of control here, and read the accompanying, introducing Neu interview here.
