Kid Wave play debut live session on BBC 6 Music
The band stopped by Lauren Laverne’s show for their first ever live session, playing two tracks from debut ‘Wonderlust’.
With their debut album ‘Wonderlust’ out now via Heavenly, Kid Wave stopped by Lauren Laverne’s 6 Music show to play their first ever live session. The London-based band played a feedback-free take on their latest single ‘Honey,’ along with ‘I’m Trying to Break Your Heart’. Both tracks appear on ‘Wonderlust,’ which came out earlier this week.
Kid Wave also spoke to Laverne about singer Lea Emmery’s move from Sweden to the UK aged 17, their label-home of Heavenly, and the band’s love of Wilco and Tina Turner. Listen back to the session below.
