King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard share new 'Trapdoor' single

Aussie psych-heads King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are streaming new track ‘Trapdoor’ - a bouncy second offering from new album ‘Paper Mâché Dream Balloon’.

Flying closer to the warped, meandering psychedelia of King Gizzard’s previous offerings than the album’s title-track, ‘Trapdoor’ still maintains that whimsical charm of the band’s new, predominantly acoustic direction, in which they’ve swapped out the pedal-boards for “acoustic guitars, flute, double bass, fiddle, harmonica, drum kit, clarinet. Whatever we could find really,” as frontman Stu Mackenzie states. Stream it below.

‘Paper Mâché Dream Balloon’ is released via Heavenly Recordings on November 13th.
