King Princess announces UK & Irish shows

King Princess will make her Glastonbury debut this June, and has announced two headline shows to precede the Worthy Farm performance.

Mikaela Strauss will bring recent EP ‘Make My Bed’ to headline shows in Dublin and London in the week before her Glastonbury set.

The dates will begin at Dublin Academy June 24th before playing at London’s Heaven two days later.

King Princess appears in DIY’s Class Of 2019. “I think the biggest lesson to understand is that business is savage and [you need] to surround yourself with people that take your experience in the industry seriously,” Mikaela told us.

“So many bands would make amazing records in my dad’s studio that would never come out. They wanted to put their fucking music out, but somebody said no. It’s just so stupid. Listen to yourself, listen to the people you love, don’t listen to people that think that you’re this XYZ [commodity] that’ll be profitable.”
