King Princess shares the video for ‘Prophet’
Tuck in to the brand new visuals. Literally.
With her debut album ‘Cheap Princess’ set for release this year via Mark Ronson’s Zelif Records, King Princess has now shared the visuals to the slow-burning woozy pop number ‘Prophet’.
Seeing King Princess play football and perform in a low-lit club in front of her cheerleader-turned-waitress crush, the tale about being infatuated with someone ends with the aforementioned crush baking her into a cake, before a party of people grab a taste. Heavy on red-lighting and lusty undertones, King Princess - real name Mikaela Strauss - took to twitter to let us know “it’s a metaphor”.
