Kliph Scurlock Rumoured To Have Left The Flaming Lips
A representative from the Lips appeared to confirm the news.

A member of the band for the past 12 years, The Flaming Lips drummer Kliph Scurlock is rumoured to have departed the group following a no-show at the Lips’ Buku Music Project gig on 22nd March.
Thefutureheart.com, with comedian Amber E claiming she’d been informed that the merch guy was drumming for the band instead on the night.
Pitchfork seemed to confirm the news by contacting a Flaming Lips representative, who stated that Scurlock is no longer a member of the band.
Scurlock has been the group’s drummer since their 2002 tour with Beck. The band have yet to release a statement. Kliph recently tweeted ‘It’s not up to me’ in response to a fan, regarding the situation.
