KWAYE breaks free in the video for ‘Little Ones’
The dramatic clip has once again been directed by Billy Boyd Cope.
After bursting forth with ‘Cool Kids’, Zimbabwe-born KWAYE
recently revealed his beast of a second single, ‘Little Ones’ (it’s anything
but little).
The frankly humongous track now has a brand new video, once
again from director Billy Boyd Cape, who worked with KWAYE on the ‘Cool Kids’
video. It depicts a story where KWAYE encounters a range of characters who
represent various parts of his past, which have either been constrained or
repressed in his own mind.
Across the course of the video, KWAYE eventually becomes
more liberated (reflecting the unbridled tone of the song itself), breaking
free of his constraints to finally become someone who’s fully in control. It’s
bold, dramatic, empowering, contains a few epic dance moves and some serious vintage
R&B vibes. Basically, it’s a belter.
