Lana Del Rey is headlining Øya Festival 2017
Mac DeMarco, Jenny Hval and Julia Jacklin are also off to Norway.
It’s been revealed that Lana Del Rey will be headlining Øya Festival in Oslo next August.
The singer registered a new song called ‘Wild Side’ last month, prompting speculation that she was reading a new album, and her headline slot at the Norwegian festival just adds fuel to the fire. She’s also headed to Way Out West, and Flow Festival next year. That’s an ‘awful lot’ of festival appearances for someone without a new album, isn’t it…?
A whole host of other names have also been added to the bill, including Mac DeMarco and jazz fusionists BADBADNOTGOOD. Norway native Jenny Hval will also be performing songs from her latest album ‘Blood Bitch’, with Aussie singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin playing tunes from her debut LP ‘Don’t Let The Kids Win’.
They all join the likes of MØ and Angel Olsen on the ever-growing bill.
Øya Festival takes place at Tøyenparken in Oslo between 8th-12th August. Tickets are on sale now. Find more information on Øya Festival 2017 here.
