Laura Mvula shares ‘Phenomenal Woman’

Laura Mvula has shared ‘Phenomenal Woman’, a new single from forthcoming second album ‘The Dreaming Room’.

Dubbed by Mvula as an “anthem to raise up our women,” it’s a million miles away from the potentially-boring singer-songwriter stereotype she verged close to on her previous LP ‘Sing to the Moon’. It’s anything but safe, in effect. Quick-thinking, stuffed to the brim with hooks, it’s a bright and inventive rallying cry - bloody good, too.

New album ‘The Dreaming Room’ is released on 17th June.
