LCD Soundsystem cover Chic’s ‘I Want Your Love’ for Spotify Singles session
The track’s mixed into ‘Home’ as per the band’s recent live shows.
At their recent live shows, LCD Soundsystem have been covering Chic classic ‘I Want Your Love’ during renditions of ‘Home’ from 2010 LP ‘This Is Happening’. They’ve now recorded the version as part of a new Spotify Singles session.
The two-track recording comes alongside ‘Tonite’ from last year’s ‘American Dream’ LP.
The band also recently released a handful of new remixes from ‘American Dream’ on vinyl.
Father John Misty recently lent his hand to the Spotify Singles series, giving ‘Mr Tillman’ a synth-pop makeover, while Courtney Barnett and Arctic Monkeys have also contributed.
