Listen to Father John Misty play a synth-pop version of ‘Mr Tillman’
He’s also shared a cover of Welch’s ‘Everything Is Free’ as part of the Spotify Singles series.
Father John Misty is the latest artist to contribute to the Spotify Singles series, and for his new release, he’s given recent single ‘Mr Tillman’ a synth-pop makeover.
The new track is joined by a cover of Welch’s 2001 track ‘Everything Is Free’ on the new playlist.
Papa John released his new album ‘God’s Favorite Customer’ back in June, his second album in just over a year after ‘Pure Comedy’ was released in April of 2017.
Jenny Lewis recently joined the singer on stage in Toronto for a version of the new album’s title track.
