Listen: AKIINE Stream New Track ‘Frid’
London duo offer up a sugar-dosed glimpse of the future.
London’s AKIINE get by on their own frequency. It was evidenced at a Neu Presents show when supporting Blaue Blume in London earlier this year, and it practically throws down the ‘chilled out’ gauntlet with new track ‘Frid’.
The follow-on from sweet-natured debut tracks ‘Sunglassey’ and ‘Blueberry Mountains’ is a sleepy-eyed beauty. Buried beneath the drifting atmospherics is a bubbling energy, like a musical sugar cube dissolving in a delicious cup of coffee.
