Listen: Alice Boman Previews New EP With ‘What’
Swedish newcomer releases her ‘II’ EP this June. Listen to a stunning preview.

Malmö, Sweden songwriter Alice Boman has served her first preview of a new EP with the sparse, resolute ‘What’, which essentially plays out as a lesson on how to pen beautiful, non-showy songs.
Boman started out with last year’s ‘Skisser’ release. The title translated to ‘Sketches’, showcasing in sum a collection of early, playful efforts that choose to meander and explore.
Thankfully, ‘What’ - true to its title - sees the artist continuing to ask questions. ‘Who do you see? What do you think when you think about me?’
She’s more content with toying with several tangents instead of charging down one lane. Defined by piano lines that float under an ether-like production, Boman’s vocals balance unnerving beauty with underlying sadness.
The song’s taken from ‘II’, a new EP released on 3rd June through Happy Death (Europe), Adrian Recordings (Sweden) and The Control Group (North America).
Pre-order ‘II’ on iTunes.
