Listen: Arcade Fire’s New ‘Reflektor’ Single Emerges Online
Disco + LCD Soundsystem + Arcade Fire = bloody brilliant.

A fairly dodgy Bandcamp upload of what is most definitely the new Arcade Fire single, ‘Reflektor’, has appeared online.
With the album due out on 29th October via Merge, ‘Reflektor’ is due its grand unveiling on 9th September, 9pm (depending on which timezone you’re referring to).
The upload - the source of which quite states in a panic ‘THIS IS SIMPLY THE ROUTE I TOOK TO PUT THIS ON THE INTERNET’ - spans over 7 minutes.
Pitchfork thinks it hears David Bowie - it’s certainly possible. A couple of things are definite: It’s Arcade Fire strutting their stuff on a disco floor and it sounds really very good.
