Listen: Banoffee Streams New Track ‘Reign Down’
Aussie Martha Brown looks over a lesser being in this powerful new track.

It’s probably an obligation in her proverbial contract, but every Banoffee song leaves a sweet taste. There’s a sourness there too, however. It’s one that reared its head during Melbourne artist Martha Brown’s sarcy love ode ‘Ninja’, and it returns in this Oscar Key Sung-produced track ‘Reign Down’.
Brown doesn’t so much slice a syrup-topped banana as crush it into one terrifying mush on this new track. It’s taken from a new EP, out early 2014, and it’s a breathless slithering sneaker, sinking near-spoken word vocals with chopped beats and curse-filled choruses.
