Listen: Beck Covers John Lennon’s ‘Love’

Sweethearts 2014 compilation is set to feature Vampire Weekend and Phosphorescent alongside this Beck contribution.

In what’s set to be a prolific year for Beck Hansen (he’s promising two albums in one year, the first being February’s ‘Morning Phase’), he’s kicking off 2014 with a low-key cover of a John Lennon track.

Seeing as it’s for a Valentine’s Day compilation, the track in question is ‘Love’. The compilation itself is taken from ‘Sweethearts 2014’, a bringing together of loved-up ditties.

Vampire Weekend, The Head and the Heart and Phosphorescent also appear on the compilation. In the meantime, stream Beck’s turn of romance below and check out the tracklist.
