Listen: Ben Gibbard Covers Stars’ ‘Set Yourself On Fire’
The Death Cab main man tweeted to a rough mix of his take on the track.
Back in 2007, Canadian indie types Stars released ‘Do You Trust Your Friends?’ an album of remixes and cover versions of tracks from their 2004 record ‘Set Yourself On Fire’.
Last night, Ben Gibbard tweeted that he began working on a track for the record - a cover of title track ‘Set Yourself On Fire’ - but didn’t finish it. The Death Cab For Cutie main man then linked to the work-in-progress track on SoundCloud.
