Classic Whitney comeback track gets a synthy edit from the Scottish trio.
CHVRCHES have had a busy week; releasing their debut album; appearing on Jools; headlining NY’s Terminal 5; returning to the UK for an intimate album launch. Surely jetlagged out of their minds, they still managed to squeeze time in to cover one of the most underrated tracks of the ’90s. There’s no stopping these guys.
Whitney Houston’s ‘It’s Not Right, But It’s Okay’ gained a new synth-heavy rendition from the Scottish trio, performed for Zane Lowe on Radio 1.
It’s genuinely brilliant - here’s to hoping they play the track on that newly announced 2014 tour.
