Listen: CHVRCHES Rework ‘Recover’, ‘The Mother We Share’ & ‘Gun’

As part of a deluxe re-packaged version of their debut album, CHVRCHES are revisiting highlights from ‘The Bones of What You Believe’.

Three songs come under the spotlight for reinterpretation, with the Scottish trio cutting up and re-jigging original versions. ‘Recover’ is strung out and turned into a slow-burning number. ‘The Mother We Share”s fog of synth is replaced with something much lighter to the touch, the heart of the song still staying firmly in place. It’s in ‘Gun’ where things really come to life, chopped and screwed drum patterns backing a doomy new version of an already brilliant song.

In summary - three amazing CHVRCHES songs being made to sound amazing again in completely different ways. What’s not to love?
