Listen: Dessert Stream New Track, ‘Lovelink’

Sounds tempting, doesn’t it? Dessert tick pretty much all the boxes. They’re less eton mess, more chocolate cheesecake. Maybe with some hundreds and thousands sprinkled on top. Fuck it, let’s put a candle on it too.

The mysterious (‘ooooh’) LA trio are unsigned, apparently. Debut track ‘You’re Welcome’ was a curious introduction of barely-there beats and shape-shifting samples. ‘Lovelink’ takes more a structure, bending police sirens with sombre piano notes and vocals that couldn’t be any more clear. As second helpings of Dessert go, this is pretty good.
