Listen: Faye Signs To Best Fit Recordings, Changes Name, Previews Track

It’s been a busy ol’ morning for Faye, formerly known as Fanny, as the Swedish songstress announces her change in moniker, signing to Best Fit Recordings and the release of a new single.

Faye (Hamlin) will release ‘Water Against The Rocks’ on 25th June 2012.

“The most important thing is that I do it myself and no one is making decisions for me… I want to use my vocals in a different way, and it’s a wonderful feeling for me to be able to make my own sound. It’s important for me to do this my own way,” Faye says of her new solo venture [she was formerly one quarter of girl group ‘Play’].

The track will be available on limited edition 7’, alongside track ‘Come To Me’ in July, with a debut album expected to be released later this year.

Faye will also be performing a few dates next month:
