Listen: Four Tet Streams ‘KHLHI’ Percussions Track
‘KHLHI’ joins up with ‘Sext’ in forming Kieran Hebden’s TEXT29 release.

unveiled what appears to be the final of four Percussions tracks to be shared in the space of a week.
‘KHLHI’ forms the first half of TEXT29 alongside ‘Sext’. There’s also ‘Ascii Bot’ and ‘Blatant Water Canon’, which come out on TEXT30, with the same estimated release date of 28th April.
Both releases follow on from last year’s Four Tet album ‘Beautiful Rewind’. Given the different moniker, Percussions sees Kieran Hebden wandering off into new territory - with ‘KHLHI’ he employs 50s TV set samples and skittish, jazz-fused percussion.
TEXT031 is a release from a completely unknown producer, Taraval.
