Listen: Four Tet Shares ‘Sext’ Percussions Track
Four Tet’s promising three TEXT releases before the end of April.

Yesterday producer Four Tet delivered a double dosage of new material under his Percussions guise. ‘Ascii Bot’ and ‘Blatant Water Cannon’ form part of a new TEXT release on Keiran Hebden’s own label.
Now’s the turn of ‘Sext’ - the brilliantly titled addition to Hebden’s catalogue. The B-side to TEXT29, it’s more rooted to one style than any of the two previously unveiled tracks, opting for eerie, concrete electronics instead of flirting with more obtuse influences.
The only release we haven’t heard (from those promised for the end of the month) is TEXT031, the introduction of a completely unknown producer, Taraval.
