The bowing-out of Wu Lyf has left us with a remarkable amount of exciting new projects. Ex-frontman, and the most controversial of the band’s figures, Ellery Roberts recently shared his debut track. And Los Porcos today announced their first single.
Francis Lung is just as exciting. He’s been playing the odd show here and there, but the ‘Age Limits’ track was uploaded yesterday.
Beginning like ‘Pablo Honey’-era Radiohead, it soon casts its gaze on ravaged guitar-playing and emotionally fraught songwriting. With nods to eras previous, it still manages to sound vitally like a product of today.
