Listen: Gorillaz Share Previously Unreleased Track ‘Whirlwind’
Damon Albarn debuted track from ‘Plastic Beach’ sessions on Radio 2 last weekend.
Out of the blue, a new Gorillaz track has surfaced. ‘Whirlwind’ was put together during 2008-2009’s ‘Plastic Beach’ sessions.
Damon Albarn shared the track while replacing Dermot O’Leary as host on his BBC Radio 2 show. Making his presenting debut, you can listen back to the whole show here.
‘Whirlwind’ features the Lebanese National Symphony Orchestra, musically linking into ‘White Flag’, which appears on the full-length.
