Listen: Grimes Previews New Album With ‘Oblivion’
Taken from Claire Boucher’s forthcoming third full-length.
Claire Boucher aka. Grimes is set on releasing her third album, ‘Visions’, in the early stages of 2012. For now, we’ve been given indication of its sound through a new giveaway track, titled ‘Oblivion’.
Equipped with Boucher’s signature, high-pitched falsetto, she fuses harsh, fast-paced drum patterns with a refreshing blend of light, twinkling keys.
The album’s release date is set for January 31, 2012, with Arbutus.
