Listen: Jack White’s Helium Balloon Track Hits The Internet

Back at the start of the month - 1st April - to be exact, Jack White and his innovative lot at Third Man Records succeeded at yet another first, and released vinyl via helium balloon.

Yes, we didn’t believe it either, but it just so happens that it was real! And somewhat of a success, judging by the fact that someone with internet access has decided to bless us with a copy of the track featured upon the shiny blue disc.

You can now hear ‘Freedom At 21’ (with all of its vinyl-y charms still intact) below (via www.listenbeforeyoubuy.net, which is taken from White’s forthcoming debut solo album ‘Blunderbuss’.



Jack White releases his first solo album on 23rd April via Third Man Records / XL Recordings.

He will also be making two UK appearances in June.
