Listen: Kiasmos Stream New Track, ‘Looped’

Janus Rassmussen and Olafur Arnalds like to take their time. Back in early 2012, they released ‘Thrown’, a track that in turn followed on from material released all the way back in 2009. A debut album’s been completed, however, and the pair are previewing it with new song ‘Looped’.

‘Thrown’ was a lurching, 9-minute giant, techno at the heart but offering so much else in return. ‘Looped’ is similarly informed, basing itself in beautiful surroundings while evolving, piece by piece, into a piano-led triumph that’s never going to settle.
