Listen: Marika Hackman Previews New EP With ‘Deep Green’

London songwriter Marika Hackman has announced a new EP, ‘Deaf Heat’. It’s out on 14th April 2014 and the lead track ‘Deep Green’ is streaming right now.

A jumbling together of brittle-boned synths and harp section, Marika’s vocals swerve away from conventional melody, spitting severe lines like ‘fucking with my god damn brain’ atop music that sounds contrastingly innocent.
