Listen: Moko Streams New Track, ‘Don’t Walk Away’ (Jade Cover)

South London’s hair-raising newcomer Moko has offered another glimpse into her wide-ranging influences (from Massive Attack to The Fugees, she recently told DIY), in unveiling a cover of 1993 hit ‘Don’t Walk Away’, by Chicago R&B trio Jade.

The last person to cover this song was Javine. Moko’s version, rather, is a skittish take on the original, upping the soul stakes while also fledging that all-encompassing trip hop influence.
