Listen: Phoenix Unveil ‘Trying To Be Cool (R.Kelly Remix)’

Following their impromptu Coachella collaboration this year, Phoenix have gone to second base in their love affair with R.Kelly by agreeing for him to appear on a remix of ‘Trying To Be Cool’.

The remix essentially involves R Kelly singing along to the chorus. Emphasis is on the word ‘featuring’ rather than ‘remix’. But hey, it’s Phoenix and R.Kelly. Forget the latter’s previous dodgy escapades and it’s a collaboration made in the gates of heaven.

‘Trying To Be Cool”s R.Kelly remix is available on iTunes from 20th August.
