Listen: Rush Midnight Unveils New Single ‘Don’t Give Me Your Love’
Russ Manning follows the ‘+1’ EP with another slice of moonlight disco.

Russ Manning aka. Rush Midnight is fast on following his debut ‘+1’ EP with a full-length debut album. New single ‘Don’t Give Me Your Love’ acts as a tiding over between the two releases, and it’s big on sweet hooks and a marked progression.
Manning, who we profiled back in Autumn 2012, works as the bassist for Twin Shadow, with George Lewis, Jr. lending production to the previously released EP.
New track ‘Don’t Give Me Your Love’ is crammed-full of drum rolls and the kind of ice-dry synths that suit his name to a T and lend the music its sense of drama. The subject of his song is told to give a dance instead of a genuine offering of love, and while that’s a touch rude, we’ll forgive Rush for playing the super-cool babe-magnet in his latest track.
