Listen: Sharon Van Etten Shares New Track, ‘Your Love Is Killing Me’
Spellbinding track from ‘Are We There’ previews the new album out this May.

new album strips itself of ‘Tramp”s guest spots and instead focuses very much on SVE - it’s no surprise that the tracks unveiled so far from the album speak volumes from the heart of one. ‘Your Love Is Killing Me’ appears to be no different, mixing intense figurative language (‘Burn my skin so I can feel you / Stab my eyes so I can’t see you’) with breathtaking delivery. Once the song reaches a crescendo, Van Etten is eventually backed by sweltering organs and marching drum, but she’s completely at the centre of it all.
The new song links up with ‘Taking Chances’ and ‘Every Time The Sun Comes Up’. Listen to the new track below. ‘Are We There’ is out 26th May via Jagjaguwar.
