Listen: The Horrors’ Tom Furse Remixes I Break Horses, ‘Faith’

When he’s not drowning in synths, Tom Furse from the Horrors likes to record outward-thinking electronic music of his own. He’s recently turned his attention to remixes. Two weeks back he took on ‘Conductor’ by psych expansionists TOY - now he’s provided a choice dub cut of ‘Faith’ by I Break Horses.

The original track is taken from Maria Lindén’s latest I Break Horses LP ‘Chiaroscuro’. Tom’s completely stripped the original of its immediacy, instead pouring in a thick fog of atmospherics; I Break Horses’ already dramatic synth quality is ten times more pressing, here.
