Listen to The National play the whole of their new album ‘Sleep Well Beast’
The new album comes out this Friday (8th September).

Well, it’s nearly here – The National are set to release their much-anticipated new album ‘Sleep Well Beast’ this Friday (8th September) but you can hear the whole album now on NPR.
The band headed to Philadelphia’s Union Transfer to play the whole album for NPR and WXPN’s World Café, so naturally the set included recent singles ‘Day I Day’ and ‘Carin At The Liquor Store’ as well as ‘The System Only Dreams In Total Darkness’. Listen to the concert recording right here.
The National are set to head out on a huge world tour later this year in support of ‘Sleep Well Beast’, including a number of dates in the UK and Ireland this month. Along the way, they’re taking in four (!) London gigs at the huge Hammersmith Apollo.
Watch them play the whole of ‘Sleep Well Beast’ here and revisit their recent, trippy video for ‘Day I Die’ below. You can also take a look at their UK and Ireland tour dates too.
