The Vaccines share ‘I Never Go Out On Fridays’
The group unveiled the unreleased demo last week.
Currently working on the follow-up to 2018’s ‘Combat Sports’, The Vaccines gave us a little surprise on Friday by revealing brand new song - and absolute mood - ‘I Never Go Out On Fridays’.
“made this demo a couple of years ago and gave up on it surfacing, but it’s recently taken on a whole new meaning and so wanted to share with you.” The group wrote in a post on Instagram, “we’ve always really liked it. i guess we’ll all see the light of day eventually.”
The new’un comes after band members Justin and Tim released their first Halloweens project ‘Morning Kiss At The Acropolis’ on 19th March. Talking to us before the pair’s debut release, Justin explained: “I have these five imaginary bands on my computer with these folders and playlists and every time I write a song that doesn’t feel quite right for The Vaccines I put it into one of these imaginary bands’ albums. Halloweens was just the first one that got to the place where we had a body of work that really clicked.” Revisit the interview here.
