Listen to Flying Lotus’ final Radio 1 Residency show

The final show featured a guest mix from Beat Junkies founder J. Rocc.

Last night (11th June) after several months hosting Radio 1’s Residency, Flying Lotus presented his final show.

During its run, Steven Ellison aka Flying Lotus’ has invited guests including Kendrick Lamar, Herbie Hancock and Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood, premiering new music, exclusive interviews and remixes to the show.

Flying Lotus also took the time on the airwaves to premiere previously unrealised material from his ‘You’re Dead!’ LP, talk about his creative upbringing and process as well as showcasing the eclectic range of music inspiring him as a producer and artist.

The final show featured a guest mix from L.A. producer and Beat Junkies founder J. Rocc as well as music from the likes of William Onyeabor, Curtis Mayfield and Bill Withers. Ellison wrapped up the show with an alternative mix of ‘Obligatory Cadence’, a track from ‘You’re Dead!’.
