Listen to St. Vincent’s first ‘Mixtape Delivery Service’, for an 11-year-old girl
Annie Clark will be delivering a weekly mixtape to a person of her choice.

For her Beats 1 radio show, Annie Clark aka St. Vincent has promised to make a unique mixtape for an individual of her choice. ‘St. Vincent’s Mixtape Delivery Service’ is a curated playlist that “serves a soundtrack for whatever is going on in their lives.”
First up is Piper, an 11-year-old girl who cites Chvrches and Purity Ring as some of her favourite bands and says St. Vincent is her favourite singer. Clark responded by playing music that she things Piper will love, “but might have missed - because she’s 11.”
St. Vincent’s mixtape picks out songs from Depeche Mode, Björk, New Order and The Knife. Speaking to Clark, Piper described the “singing parties at night” that she throws in her room. Listen to the conversation below.
