Listen to Tusks cover Foals’ ‘London Thunder’
Her debut album ‘Dissolve’ is out next week.

Emily Underhill – better known as Tusks – is gearing up to release her debut album ‘Dissolve’ next week, and has been building up to the record with a bevvy of emotion-drenched tracks, such as the recent ‘Last’.
Now she’s shared the final track from the LP, which is also a cover of Foals’ ‘What Went Down’ number ‘London Thunder’. While the original is somewhat contemplative, Emily strips the track down even further, producing a haunting version that’s propelled by echoing guitar melodies and her own voice.
Speaking of the cover, Emily said: “I never planned for this to go on the album, but we had a spare half an hour at the end of a recording session at Lightship so we decided to just try out a live take. Luckily we got it in one and it felt right to finish the album with it”.
On 15th November Emily is set to play a show a London’s Kamio. Tickets are on sale now.
