Emily Underhill – better known as Tusks – is gearing up to release her new album ‘Dissolve’ on 13th October, which is set to build on her emotion-drenched early offerings.
After sharing the likes of the title track in the lead up to the album’s release, she’s now shared ‘Last’, a typically charged number that builds from stark percussion and guitar riffs into waves upon waves of glacial, ambient synths that propel the track forward. It’s a heady mix of light and shade.
Speaking of the track, Emily said: “It’s the feistiest track on the album. It was a bit of a fuck you to a person at the time who I’d invested loads of energy and time into who’d messed me around”. Crikey, don’t mess with Tusks, then…
On 15th November, after a stint touring the US, Emily is set to play a show a London’s Kamio. Tickets are on sale now.
