Listen: Twin Peaks Stream ‘Flavor’ From New ‘Wild Onion’ Album
Twin Peaks’ quick follow-up to ‘Sunken’ comes out via Grand Jury this August.
Chicago’s Twin Peaks are good friends with The Orwells and Smith Westerns, but they’re out-doing their peers in the grubby scuzz stakes with new song ‘Flavor’.
The track’s taken from a new album ‘Wild Onion’. It’s the band’s second, quickly following up on last year’s album ‘Sunken’. In the UK, the band are putting out a ‘Flavor’ EP, which brings together the new song and three highlights from last year’s LP. It’s out 7th July on National Anthem.
Grand Jury release ‘Wild Onion’ on 5th August. ‘Flavor”s an impressive first taste, immediacy epitomised. Every whiskey-soaked howl sounds like it’s coming from a bunch of veterans, but these Twin Peaks ‘dudes’ are barely into their twenties.
